When I started my studies, the first holiday break assignment our teachers (Raphaël Lefeuvre and Meriadeg le Coustumer, thank you) gave us was to fill a 60-page sketchbook with type doodles in two weeks.
Looking so closely to letters and having fun copying them while trying to make new shapes was a revelation.
